2009 POWERADE RUN BARBADOS SERIES

After seven months of promoting Run Barbados, CE was able to attract fifty runners/visitors to the Island of Barbados. In addition the winners of the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K came from our group. Philip Lagat and his wife Penina Sawe took the spot light being the winning husband and wife team of the Marathon, Half Marathon and 10k.

Featured Athlete: Philip Lagat

Philip has started 2010 with a bang, running a huge personal best of 3:57.55 in the Mile at Drake Relays on April 24, 2010. He now has his sights set on lowering his times in the 1500m to the 10,000m and will be off to Europe at the end of May for 4 weeks of competition.
