Codrington Enterprises, LLC, is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Since its formation in 1999, the company has represented and marketed athletes from many countries including the U.S., Canada, Nigeria, Sudan, Kuwait, Jamaica, and Barbados. CE’s roster of elite athletes includes medal-winners from the Olympics, World Championships, NACAC Senior Championships, and Pan-American games.
Joseph L. “Codgie” Codrington, President and CEO, is a former athlete who had a successful career competing in the 800m for Barbados and Eastern Michigan University. Joseph served as manager of the Barbados Amateur Athletic Association’s National team at the 1999 Central American and Caribbean Games. Joseph’s primary focus remains securing sponsorships and endorsement contracts with major shoe companies as well as appearance and competition opportunities for CE athletes.
Lauretta Codrington, a former analyst at the Ford Motor Company, has partnered with her husband to invest her skills in the company. In the past fifteen years she created and marketed several successful projects, including a ten-season local cable network television production. She also managed a highly successful Christian child care center for seven years. Lauretta serves as the VP of Marketing and Sales. Her primary focus is to increase the image and income streams of Codrington Enterprises and its athletes and entertainers.
Joseph and Lauretta have been married for 23 years. They have four children and are very active in their church and community.
