Codrington Elite Performance is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Since its formation in 1999, the company has represented and marketed athletes from many countries including the USA, Canada, Nigeria, Colombia, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, St. Kitts and Barbados. CEP’s roster of elite athletes includes medal winners from the Olympics, Paralympics, World Championships, NACAC Senior Championships, IAAF World Relays and Pan-American Games.
Joseph “Codgie” Codrington, CEO, is a former athlete who had a successful career competing in the 800m for Barbados and Eastern Michigan University. Joseph served as manager of the Barbados Amateur Athletic Association’s National team at the 1999 Central American and Caribbean Games and is inducted into the EMU Athletic Hall of Fame. Joseph’s primary focus remains securing sponsorships and endorsement contracts with major shoe companies as well as appearance and competition opportunities for CEP athletes. Additionally, as our clients transition away from the competition on the track and the field, he selects and secures income earning opportunities for them.
Lauretta Codrington, COO, spent several years in corporate America in Business Operations until 2003 when she partnered with her husband to invest her skills in the company. She continues to handle the operations portion of the business and supports Joseph in moving the business forward.
