Personal: Adam Shunk was born August 29, 1979, in Muncie, Indiana. Dr. Adam Shunk has completed a Masters Degree in Psychology and a Ph.D. in Neuropsychology and is currently working as a Sport and Performance Neuropsychology Resident at St. Vincent Sports Performance Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Adam started competing in track in . Adam started competing in track in high school, where he followed his older brother's footsteps as a high jumper. Adam's overall goal for his track career is to be on the medal podium at the 2008 Olympics. When Adam is not working at perfecting his event, he divides his time between playing basketball, spending time with his wife, Patricia, and being a volunteer coach within his community. After he has attained his goals for his track career, Adam will work as a Sports Psychologist and Neuropsychologist.
