Personal: Aliann was born on March 9, 1978 in Georgetown, Guyana. She did not start running track until she was in high school. She has continued to improve from then until today. Aliann wants to add an Olympic medal to her collection and continues to train with that in mind. Once she is done she will use her Master\'s in finance to be a consultant or work in development.
