Personal: April was born on December 25, 1983 in Washington , DC and started running track at age 5. She completed her Bachelor\'s and Master degrees as a result of a combination athletic and academic scholarship and now works as a Physical Therapist. April\'s goals are to be ranked in the top 10 in the world in the 100m hurdles and to win a medal at the 2009 World Championships. Once retired from track she will own and operate her own physical therapy business
