Boston, MA – January 26, 2008. Lela V. Nelson was the champion in the Long Jump against Olympic and World Champion, Carolina Kluft of Sweden, at the Reebok Boston Indoor Games. Lela V. is a native of Detroit, Michigan and a graduate of Eastern Michigan University, currently residing and training in North Carolina.

“Lela V., as she is called, opened her Long Jump season with a solid win,” comments Joseph Codrington her agent. This is Lela’s first time competing at the Boston Indoor Games, which boasts a twelve-year history. Olympian Carolina Kluft was chosen to win the event, but no one told Lela V. who won the Long Jump by a 10-centimeter margin. This win qualifies Lela V. to compete at the US Indoor Nationals to be held again at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center in Boston where a winning jump will place her on the US team to the IAAF World Indoor Championships in Valencia, Spain.

Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas – April 15, 2008. Butta B, originally from Kingston, Jamaica and currently based in Texas will release his debut album entitled Diversified this Spring 2008.

“ Butta-B combines Dancehall with Hip Hop/Reggae to form a new and powerful sound”; says a reporter from Front2Back magazine out of Germany during an interview with Butta-B. “Butta is a serious musician and lyricist,” says his agent, Joseph Codrington, whose agency is working to land a record label contract for Butta. The inspiration for his music comes from the harsh realities of the Kingston streets and everyday life abroad. Natasha, Editor in Chief of L3 Magazine writes, “His music speaks for itself! Texas will never be the same again…. It’s the invasion of Butta-B”

Butta-B has performed at different venues throughout Texas, including clubs such as Nairobi, Palm Beach, Tomcats, and Gypsy Tearoom. He is currently experiencing multiple spins of his hit single “Girl You So” on radio stations including 93.5FM out of Florida, Juice 102.5 of London and 91.7FM Irie Vibez of Florida and has worked with a host of independent artist from the Texas area.

Butta’s highly anticipated debut album “Diversified” — featuring Gladstone, Mista, King Ashoka and others — release date April 15, 2008 will have you nodding your head and swaying your hips to these cool sounds.

Alger, Algeria — July 22, 2007. LA-born Seth Amoo, who is sponsored by Puma and is a graduate of Arizona State University, took a Silver medal in the 200m sprint at the All-African Games where Seth represented his parents’ homeland of Ghana.

The All African Games are on the same level as the Pan American Games, and for Seth Amoo this Silver medal performance serves as a dress rehearsal for his participation at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, Japan. “Seth’s training background over the last year is sure to land him as one of the athletes on the Olympic medal podium in 2008,” says Seth’s agent, Joseph Codrington. Upon his return to Katy, TX mid-September, Seth will take a few days to rest and catch up with his wife D’andra and baby daughter Ny’jia before he begins his training regime again. Seth will be available for and seeking additional sponsorship opportunities to help fund his journey to an Olympic gold medal in Beijing China.
